Our Clear Lake Area Instructors
Our instructors have spent many years devoted to pursuing excellence in their field and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as instructors and trainers.
Through extensive training, certification and dedication, our staff has attained mastery in their fields and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to our clients. All instructors have played the game competitively on the college, minor league, or major league level. Learn more about each instructor below.

- The radar gun clocked pitches at 103 mph

- Broke his own strikeout record and struck out 300 batters

- 1976-79: Finished in Top Ten for Cy Young Award
- 1976: Won his 20th game
- Struck out 15 batters in his big league debut
- First right-handed pitcher to strike out 300 batters in a single season
Blake La Grange (Baseball Instructor)
- Scouted and asked to enter draft by the Cincinnati Reds as a 17 year old senior.
- Ranked in the top five of Texas pitchers in 1986.
- Ranked in the top 10 nationally.
- Led the nation in strikeouts per inning ratio.
- Coached by former Major League Pitcher for Montreal Expos.
- Opted for college to play football & baseball at Texas Tech University.
- Left college to pitch for Toronto Blue Jays instructional league, coached by Blue Jays head scout.
- Has extensive experience in coaching young pitchers.
- Very active within League City Little League and area select leagues.
- Head coach for area 10 & U select team, head coach for Dixie 3 LCLL team and pitching coach for LCLL Texas league team.
- Pitching consultant for League City area Colt League team.
Debra Biby (Softball Instructor)
- Started playing at age 11
- Played 7 years on tournament team at Two Rivers Youth Club
- Pitched at Pratt Community College
- Took 5 years of pitching lessons
Melissa Mungle (Volleyball Instructor)
- High School Setter (Pasadena Private School)
- USAV indoor women's player for over 15 years
- GCVA women's "Open" beach player with over 300 tournaments under her belt
- GCVA Bonus point winner 1998
Andre White (Basketball Instructor)
- Graduate of Baylor University with a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance
- Played professionally in China in 2004
- Played point guard at Baylor University from 1999-2003
- Hardin-Simmons University - American Southwest Conference Freshman of The Year.
- Overall Honors include Defensive Player of the Year, Big 12 Conference Assist/Turnover ratio leader, Conference Freshman of the Year
- Academic Honors include Big 12 Conference All Academic 2nd Team, Big 12 Commissioners Honor Roll, Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Award, Collegiate National Honor Society
- Played for Friendswood High School (All-District, All-Galveston County, All Region Honorable Mention honors as a senior)
- Currently is the owner and director of The Best Of Both Worlds Foundation which is designed to build the overall academic and athletic successes of children of all ages while providing scholarships to young adults entering colleges and universities.
